Aileen Carpenter (“Aileen”) is the founder of Carpenter law. She created the firm to directly offer clients efficient and creative litigation and pre-litigation solutions that secure faster results. Equipped with brilliant fluid reasoning, Aileen has turned around cases within weeks before trial and won. She has won appeals with single digit odds of success due to her strong knowledge of complex law and ability to easily uncover what is needed to win a case. She’s a gifted brief writer and has drafted appellate briefs before the Delaware Supreme Court resulting in the reversal of a 26 million dollar judgment. She has never lost a jury trial and attributes her strong presence before a jury to her acting and producing background. As a skilled chess player, Aileen enjoys case strategy. She is always one step ahead and can easily visualize the opposing party’s arguments prior to them being made.

Aileen specializes in defending and prosecuting complex cases involving RICO, unfair competition, trademark infringement, complex breach of contract, securities, conspiracy, and torts such as defamation, and appellate work. As part of her background, Aileen was a key leader at her former in-house position where she handled complex commercial litigation matters, conducted internal investigations, facilitated in the drafting of attorney general complaints, and provided advice regarding white collar crimes and corporate structure. She was also featured on Law360 for filing a complex lawsuit against a competitor. At her prior firm position, Aileen handled both transactional and litigation matters. She has drafted franchise agreements, subscription agreements, and purchase and sale agreements. Aileen is equipped to handle all stages of the litigation process and is no stranger to the court room. She has provided pro bono legal advice for the D.C. Bar’s small business clinic and advises small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs on starting a business, taxation, and other corporate structure issues and remedies. Aileen is a graduate of Emory University school of law where she was recognized as a 2019 graduating woman of excellence.
